3rd Week of Gratitude

November 14th–Today we thank the Rockin’ on the River Committee for their generous support of the Willow Center and other community non-profits through their rockin’ concerts every July.

November 15th–The Willow Center is grateful to Costco for their generous support locally and at the corporate level. Not only do they assist with our hot dog sale at the SuperSale in February, they also support our Camp Erin in the summer.

November 16th–Thank you KQQQ of Pullman, Inland Northwest Broadcasting, Ida-Vend Broadcasting, and KOZE (4-K Radio Inc.) for supporting our mission through promotion and advertising. Your efforts help reduce the stigma of death and grief.

November 17th–We are so very thankful to The Moyer Foundation for partnering with the Willow Center so we can host Camp Erin®! This camp allows us to offer another avenue of bereavement care free to youth from the region who have experienced a death of a loved one. “Helping Children Grieve and Heal.”

November 18th–We are so grateful to each of the sponsors and donors for our Little Big Wagon Raffle. This raffle is our biggest fundraiser of the year and very instrumental in continuing the level of care we give our children and families. We are so grateful for your generosity and commitment to those who are grieving in our communities. There are too many sponsors to list individually in this post so please visit our blog at willowcenter.org and our Little Big Wagon Event on Facebook. Thank you!

November 19th–Today we are thankful to the funeral homes in our region. It takes special people to care for the dead and the bereaved. We especially recognize Vassar Rawls Funeral home, Malcom’s Brower Wann, Merchant Funeral Home and Kimball Funeral Home (Pullman) for their support of the Willow Center and assistance with training of our volunteers – all to care for families in grief.

November 20th–We are so grateful to be a partner with Twin County United Way and soon to be partners with United Way of Moscow/ Latah County. We are grateful to the many people who contribute to the Willow Center through United Way Campaigns; and to the many local business who support the United Way.
