DESCRIPTION:Join the Willow Center in honoring Children’s Grief Awareness Day.In the United States\, 1 in 12 children will experience the death of a parent or sibling by the age of 18. That’s an estimated 6 million bereaved children each year!Youth with unaddressed grief are at a higher risk for lower academic performance\, depression\, anxiety\, PTSD and other mental health issues\, social and relationship struggles\, substance abuse\, suicide\, and early mortality.It is imperative that children who are grieving understand that they do not have to grieve alone!
